A leading professional development and networking company is looking for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications that are used by customers and employees worldwide. The ideal candidate has prior software engineering or SaaS application administration experience. The company offers a great work environment!

Software Engineer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $55-$85/hr (Pay varies based on candidate’s location and experience)

• 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps.
• Responsible for the day-to-day administration of SaaS applications.
• Handle timely resolution of operational incidents and requests from end users, including user provisioning, access issues, and how-to questions.
• Own service outages and incidents troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes with tooling or process.
• Analyze and understand user requirements and use cases, translate them into functional specifications, and implement solutions.
• Drive strategy for effective utilization of these tools within the organization, keeping an eye on trends and developments in SaaS technologies.
• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting the company’s standards for quality software engineering.
• Prioritize backlog of enhancements and operational tickets.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to applications including user guides, policy documents, design documents, and technical runbooks.
• Collaborate with information security teams to get application architecture and integrations reviewed and approved.
• Monitor the performance and utilization of applications and recommend improvement.
• Lead the training and onboarding process for all SaaS tools.
• Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
• Maintain an understanding of the latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.

Software Engineer Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering or SaaS application administration experience.
• 1-year experience developing automation scripts using Python.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Working experience with monitoring tools/processes is preferred.
• Prior experience in application development in a mid to large-scale organization is preferred.
• Prior experience working as part of a globally distributed team is preferred.
• Prior experience with application onboarding, consolidation, and decommissioning is preferred.
• Experience with implementing application integrations and SSO/SAML integrations is preferred.
• Experience using Jira or ServiceNow is preferred.
• Prior experience administering one or more of the following applications: Twilio, Airtable, Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Stack Overflow, Poppulo, Aha, Figma, Guru, Kahoot, Miro, and SurveyMonkey is preferred.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and the development of metrics dashboards is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are preferred.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred.
