This is a Remote position, open to candidates in CO, WY, GA, IL, KS, MI, MO, NC, NM, OH, PA, NY, TN, and Washington DC.

Here are some specifics on exactly what your days might look like:

• Architecting custom websites and CMS solutions (for marketing, e-commerce, and portal solutions)
• Utilizing development tools including CSS preprocessors, task automation (gulp/grunt), webpack, git, etc.
• Using React in conjunction with a Headless CMS such as GraphCMS and Strapi
• Developing front-end tech stacks including Foundation HTML, Reshape, SASS CSS, PostCSS
• Writing custom website themes and plugins; working with PHP Content Management Systems such as WordPress and CraftCMS, as well as API-based and headless CMSs like GraphCMS
• Building custom plug-ins to support API integrations and JSON/XML
• Managing delivery and deployments of projects through GitHub, AWS, and other solutions
• Performing bug fixes, as well as maintaining and upkeeping our internal sites

Requirements:

Here’s what you need to get our attention:

• 4+ years of experience working agency-side or client-side on a technical team.
• Previous experience architecting custom websites and CMS solutions.
• Experience working with development tools, developing frontend stacks, and full-stack websites.
• Expertise in writing custom website themes and plugins.
• You value learning, knowledge sharing, documentation, and collaboration with your team
• You’re constantly driven to learn new programming frameworks/languages and stay active in the developer/tech community.
• Ability to manage delivery and deployments of different projects, with a strong knowledge of design and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to work part time hours as needed with a schedule of approximately 4:00-8:00 pm Eastern time as needed with additional on-call flexibility for immediate fixes.

Here’s what will make us call you for sure

• Experience with WordPress components, architecture, migrations, updates, and troubleshooting
• Experience with WordPress Elementor, Semplice, and other popular plugins
• Availability at short notice in case of website downtime or priority fixes
• Freelance developer experience and the flexibility to effectively balance this role with other commitments.

Not required but will give you an edge:

• Experience with Jira/Confluence
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL
• Experience with AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platforms

Base Pay- This is a part time, hourly role starting at $50.00-$70.00/hour DOE
