SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Content Operations will help ensure the Content team is able to produce work efficiently and on time, while meeting the highest quality standards. The position will be responsible for streamlining production operations and facilitating the elevation of storytelling around our brands including the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, New York Liberty, Nets GC, and Long Island Nets. Content created will be distributed across mediums including social media, podcast platforms, web, email, app, in-venue channels, and broadcast.
The Coordinator will closely collaborate with a team of internal content creators and lead a network of freelance production professionals to support projects for internal lines of business including Marketing, Ticketing, Partnerships, Community, Communications and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage production team & freelance calendar, project management tools and support process efficiencies
- Liaise with other operational leads within Marketing and across the organization to streamline processes, communication, workflows, and reporting
- Apply Premiere Pro to add subtitles and version videos
- Support podcast production, acting as a producer as needed
- Work closely with Nets Game Presentation and Barclays Center teams to deliver in-arena assets and manage content servers
- Develop new ideas and pitch imaginative solutions for potential production
- Take and send out departmental minutes in select meetings
- Submit and organize freelance/vendor paperwork, invoices and budget tracking
- Manage production gear inventory & repairs and stay up to date on new product/technology developments
- Stay at the pulse of industry trends and emerging opportunities, drawing inspiration for the department, and stimulating innovation
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2+ years’ experience working professionally in video production
- Strong understanding of the Sports, Media & Entertainment landscape a plus
- Work experience shooting/producing content
- A storyteller, capable of both conceptualizing and performing
- Stellar project management skills with the ability to deliver projects on budget and timeline
- Proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced environment, servicing multiple partners
- Capability to work both collaboratively and independently, while remaining accountable & delivering projects on deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including clearly presenting plans
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder)
- Capacity to create clean, organized project files that are easily digestible to other producers
- College degree preferred
SALARY RANGE:
$60,000-$70,000
