Assignment Details

Senior database developer with strong data analytical skills and write complex queries to retrieve data for the business needs. Develop stored procedures, packages, and load large volumes of data using SPARK, Python, SQL Loader from .CSV files. Develop and publish the data on demand or scheduled and generate user reports using Power BI. Work independently and collaborate with teams, motivated and able to deliver end to end solutions.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database developer with strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
• Strong data analysis and design skills.
• Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.
• Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI developing front end reports.
• Has experience in Python and Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands.
• Experience working with team in Agile methodology.
• Cloud experience is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) / Utility industry is a plus.
• Work independently and collaborate with teams, motivated and able to deliver end to end solutions. Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.
• Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions. Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
