We are seeking a versatile and ambitious Flutter Developer with expertise in UX/UI design to join our innovative Blockchain Consultancy. In this role, your technical capabilities will not only be put to work but stretched beyond known boundaries. With responsibilities ranging from leading sophisticated projects that utilize your extensive knowledge of Flutter to building visually appealing and robust Blockchain solutions, this role promises to constantly engage and stimulate you. This is a part-time max 20 hours per week remote opportunity.

Job Description

• Crafting, coding, testing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of mobile applications, utilizing Flutter and Dart alongside integrating RESTful APIs and managing state with Provider or Riverpod.
• Applying a deep understanding of business needs to identify problems and design scalable solutions within the blockchain sphere.
• Leading the technical aspects of project teams, inspiring and mentoring junior developers, providing clear technical direction and guidance.
• Ensuring project delivery within agreed timelines and quality parameters, managing resources, and coordinating with other teams.
• Collaborating closely with clients, project managers, designers, other developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals.
• Reviewing team’s code, providing feedback, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and documenting work to maintain a project record and aid future troubleshooting and software maintenance.
• Working in a fast-paced Agile development environment, utilizing Scrum methodologies to deliver projects.
• Adhering to the security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines to safeguard both the company and its customers’ informational assets.
• Staying updated on new technologies and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Proficiency in Flutter, Dart, and design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma. Experience in UX/UI principles, wireframing, and prototyping is essential.
• Solid experience working within Agile methodologies like Scrum, employing tools like JIRA, and managing stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to excel in fast-paced, high-stress situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical ideas in a clear, comprehensible manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing end-to-end software development project lifecycles.
• Ability to align technical strategies with corporate objectives and business needs, familiarity with navigating corporate structures, and liaising with various levels of management.
• Proficiency in generating clear and well-structured documentation, including code comments, wiki articles, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and practices to ensure the delivery of safe, secure software solutions.
• Experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including writing well-designed, testable code, producing specifications, determining operational feasibility, integrating software components, developing software verification plans and quality assurance procedures, and maintaining software functionality.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
