Location: Miramar Beach, FL

Contract: Temporary, Part-time, Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support during rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all technical elements, including lighting, sound, set changes, and props.
• Assist in the construction, installation, and striking of stage sets, including scenery, props, and furniture. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and deadlines.
• Assist with load-ins and load-outs, organize and maintain production storage areas, and participate in inventory management of theatrical supplies and equipment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including safe handling and storage of theatrical equipment, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with directors, designers, performers, and fellow production team members to achieve artistic and technical objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in theater production, technical theater, or related field is not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing production needs and schedules. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Ensure accuracy and consistency in the execution of technical elements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, take direction, and provide clear and concise feedback.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, performers, and audience members. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in theater production.

Pay:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
