Job Description:

Are you a talented Shopify Designer / Developer with a passion for creating stunning and user-friendly e-commerce experiences? We are seeking a skilled freelance Shopify Designer / Developer to collaborate with us on updating and maintaining our website to ensure optimal functionality, aesthetics, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements, objectives, and desired outcomes.
  • Update and optimize the existing Shopify website with new features, designs, and functionalities.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Perform regular website maintenance, including updating plugins, monitoring site speed, and ensuring security measures are up to date.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to website functionality, design, and performance.
  • Develop custom Shopify themes, templates, and pages as needed.
  • Integrate third-party tools and applications to enhance website functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce design.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shopify developer/designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
  • Experience in customizing and developing Shopify themes from scratch.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience and design best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for e-commerce websites is a bonus.
