SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and talented Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting visually appealing and user-centric website designs that align with our brand and business objectives. While coding is not within the scope of this role, your designs will serve as the foundation for our development team to bring your creations to life. It’s important to note that our web team utilizes WordPress themes, so your designs will need to be created with templates in mind, and you will work closely with the web team to ensure seamless implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design objective.
  • Create high-quality web design concepts, wireframes, and mockups that are compatible with WordPress themes and effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, incorporating user experience best practices and considering mobile and responsive design principles while adhering to WordPress template guidelines.
  • Develop original design elements, such as icons, graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets, that can be easily integrated into WordPress templates to enhance website aesthetics and usability.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all design materials and web properties.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and technologies to continually enhance design processes, specifically within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs within WordPress templates and provide guidance and assets as needed.
  • Design digital assets such as e-blasts, banner ads, digital signage, and digital brochures that maintain a consistent visual identity across various platforms.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Familiarity with responsive and mobile design techniques to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices within WordPress themes.
  • Excellent visual design skills, including layout composition, color theory, and typography.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, communicate design ideas effectively, and incorporate feedback.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs on time.
  • A team player.
  • An understanding of the residential real estate industry is a huge plus.
  • Must be willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
