Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Web Developer to work within our Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) team. This critical role will be responsible for working with clients to understand their goals and then designing and implementing high performing sites that maximize conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform (Commerce Cloud & Lightning)
  • Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
  • Create well-designed and tested code using best practices for web development, including for responsive design and mobile display
  • Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, and incorporate data from back-end databases and services
  • Develop or validate testing schedules that address all applicable browsers and devices, ensuring web content can be accessed on any computer or device
  • Creating timelines and development goals
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
  • Contributing to technical documentation
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of websites and application software
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the website/web application development space
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or software engineering
  • Experience in eCommerce applications and development
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
  • Experience in implementing web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools, including GitHub
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
  • Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services — including API, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design
  • Proficient in Apex, Lightning, Commerce Cloud and Visualforce
  • Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Salary Range:

  • 1,730.77 to 2,500.00 a week. A successful applicant’s actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
