The Assistant Multimedia Producer works onsite 40 hours/week at the Friday Conference Center, a part of UNC-Chapel Hill Digital and Lifelong Learning.

The primary focus of the position is to provide creative services support for Videographers and Instructional Designers through the following activities:

• Prepare audio files for PowerPoint slide decks
• Sync text with audio in PowerPoint slide decks
• Ingest footage and setup Premiere Pro projects for handoff to editor
• Add open / close to videos via Adobe Premiere Pro
• Upload videos to Panopto
• Review captions
• Assist with audio and video shoots
• Oversee audio recordings
• Review Graphic Designer’s work for errors
• Embedding content on a canvas page
• Add course build in Canvas
• Check Canvas page for Quality Assurance

This person will follow established UNC and DLL processes, standards, and accessibility guidelines as applicable to the activities stated above.

This position is a key contributor to the Creative Services and Instructional Design groups as it builds key components in the collaborative DLL projects as assigned.

Ideally, a general understanding of the following UNC DLL applications and standards would be beneficial for this position:

• Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Audition, PowerPoint
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Canvas (LMS)
• Panopto (video delivery system)
• Familiarity with PC and Mac operating systems
• Accessibility Standards

Salary:

$20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Multimedia: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Premiere Pro: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Audition: 1 year (Preferred)
• Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
• PowerPoint: 1 year (Preferred)
