The Role:

An event designer who has a vision and a voice. Working alongside the design team, you will be expected to lead responses to briefs. Your job will be to speak up, get excited, ideate, scamp, concept, moodboard event designs, and deliver a tangible visible output. You will ensure you take the chosen ideas through from concept to delivery, working in 2D/3D to ensure your ideas are turned into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ideate event designs in response to briefs and tailored to budgets
• Deliver 2D and 3D work to visually explain your designs
• Research client, brief, and produce concept and mood board presentations
• Ability to lead on a project whether solo or with mid to junior support
• Work alongside production department to discuss ideas and concepts to see what’s possible
• Create moodboards for styling - furniture, props, styling
• Direct others of your vision such as creative producers and stylists to source and cost items required
• Ensure client branding is consistent throughout designs
• Liaise with build companies for quotes on your designs
• Tweak designs to fit into the budget
• Bring an array of materials to your designs to continue to up the creative ante
• Maintain your own consistent high standard of design output
• Troubleshoot and problem solve design issues
• Be aware of critical timelines for design deliverables
• Ensure work is delivered on time
• Ensure briefs are correctly answered across design remits
• Ownership of the project Design Folder ensuring it is up to date, tidy, and all design files are in place on reconciling a project and ISO named compliant
• Update ClickUp to keep the team notified of project progress
• Track your time across projects

Key Attributes:

• Must be able to use either VectorWorks/AutoCAD or both.
• Be proficient in Sketch Up or other 3D Visualization programs such as Cinema 4D.
• Knowledge of Adobe CS6 suite
• Knows about trends, has an interest in creative and what’s happening on the London scene and global design and art scene
• Has an interest in being part of an independent woman-owned agency which has seen huge growth post pandemic so relishes the opportunity to be in charge of shaping their own career
