About the opportunity:
SWCA seeks a full-time experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead the subset of our Content Marketing team focused on digital marketing channels. The group manages, writes copy, and develops visual media for the organization’s web, social media, and e-mail platforms. As content marketing manager, you will play a key role in packaging and delivering the successes, expert perspectives, and employee experiences that bring SWCA’s value proposition to life. You will also lead and inspire a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and mentorship, while fostering a growth-oriented environment.
You have a knack for creating order and figuring out the best way to travel from A to Z. You’re a whiz at digital marketing strategy and can mentor team members to build their skill sets. You’re curious about new platforms and strive to understand why campaigns performed the way they did. And you’re a silo-breaker who works seamlessly across teams to close loops and get the maximum impact out of every piece of content.
This is a full-time, regular (with benefits) salaried position based out of Denver, Colorado. Highly qualified, remote employees will also be seriously considered.

What you will accomplish:
- Lead a subset of the Content Marketing team responsible for digital marketing channels by providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to ensure effective content creation and delivery.
- Cocreate and implement an integrated content strategy across various platforms to strengthen SWCA’s brand position and foster engagement.
- Track and manage projects and content campaigns from ideation to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Measure and analyze content performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Document and implement standard operating procedures for the Content Marketing team.
- Collaboratively develop expectations and goals for your team, while monitoring individual performance.
- Work with team members to create compelling content that strengthens SWCA’s brand position and generates engagement with clients.
- Edit and ghost-write leadership communications as needed.
Experience and qualifications for success:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or related field.
- At least five (5) years of professional experience outside of school required; eight (8) years preferred.
- Proven experience in communications management with a focus on operations and team leadership; minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for multiple mediums (applicants will be asked to provide writing samples during the application process).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and business objectives into communication strategies.
- Proficiency in communication software and digital platforms for website management, social media, e-mail distribution, and project management.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively across all levels and departments.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
