Job Summary:
You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished product suitable for agency customers. These customers work in the blue-collar industry so enjoying the industry is a plus. You will work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to create visually appealing and engaging videos that meet the project’s objectives and specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing final product. This includes selecting the best takes, cutting and arranging clips, and adding transitions.
- Adjust and enhance audio elements, including background music, sound effects, and dialogue, to achieve optimal audio quality and synchronization with video.
- Enhance video quality through color correction and grading, ensuring consistent and visually pleasing aesthetics throughout the video.
- Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations as needed to enhance storytelling or meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project’s goals and desired narrative, ensuring that the video effectively conveys the intended message or story.
- Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and backup procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing software and tools, and efficiently use industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Review edited videos for errors, continuity issues, and technical glitches, making necessary corrections to maintain quality standards.
- Work closely with producers, directors, cinematographers, and other team members to ensure the video aligns with the project’s vision and objectives.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, managing time effectively to deliver finished videos on schedule.
- Accept and implement feedback from clients, team members, or supervisors, making revisions as necessary to meet project requirements.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and stay competitive.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience required.
