Joo Kno how to tell a story? Either Joo Kno, or you don’t. Joo Kno Media is a Washington, DC-based digital media production agency working with clients in a variety of fields. We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage our production process and help us create compelling media. This is a remote position, with opportunities for in-person work on shoots nationwide as needed.

Primary Role:

The Production Manager’s primary role is to help conceptualize and coordinate all the elements of the production. The candidate must be self-motivated, well-organized, and have experience managing the production process and client communications. The candidate will work with the Executive Producer and other team members to brainstorm projects and determine scope of responsibilities, as each project is unique and dynamic.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Planning – develop production plans and other collateral for projects
• Storyboarding – outline basic story arch with supporting assets and design elements
• Scouting – research and secure filming locations and permits as needed
• Crew – research, review, and recommend reels for new crew members
• Scheduling – create and maintain shoot schedule(s) for team, crews, and talent
• Assets – work with clients to identify, locate, and collect assets
• Stock – research and discover video, audio, and motion graphic stock options
• Voiceover – audition voice artist options for narration as needed
• Edit – create rough storyline edits as needed in Premier before hand-off to our post team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in production
• Facility with Slack, Google Drive, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Enthusiasm with a desire to learn and grow as you go
• Ability to be deadline driven, produce virtually, and work flexibly

Pay:

$25.00 per hour
