C West Entertainment strives to provide high-quality special event entertainment to the beautiful state of Arizona. So, we train and oversee a diverse team of entertainers to provide a fresh take to the mobile entertainment industry.
Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, set up, tear down, and manage heavy AV equipment.
- Physically able to work long shifts up to 12 hours, including Saturdays and most Fridays and Sundays.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
Experience
- Previous Event Industry Experience: not required but recommended.
- Minimum 1 year of previous customer service experience working directly with clients/customers.
- No Experience Necessary: Training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Audio Systems:
- Experienced in configuring and dismantling audio systems, proficient in managing gain structure and suppressing feedback.
- Skilled in operating both digital and analog audio consoles on Mac and PC platforms.
- Capable of managing live video-switching systems.
- Ability to terminate and manage DMX programming.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in A/V systems.
- Familiarity with low voltage audio systems, including line level, 70v, and microphone setups.
- Experience in installing and configuring displays, projectors, projector screens, speakers, PTZ cameras, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems based on SOPs.
- Develop SOPs for operating and training on new equipment.
- Installation and Wiring:
- Extensive experience in the installation of audio/video equipment.
- Proficiency in cable pulls and terminations.
- Skills in rack fabrication and wiring, including wire management and labeling.
- Ability to read and interpret audio-video drawings, understand signal flow.
- Proficiency in soldering and crimping connections.
- Effective utilization of common hand tools, power tools, test equipment, levels, ladders, etc.
- Familiarity with volt meters, tone generators, cable testers/certifiers.
- Knowledgeable about video aspect ratios.
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of DMX programming.
- Working knowledge of Resolume Arena.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- In-depth working knowledge of camera and lighting techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of audiovisual editing equipment and software.
Professionalism
- Punctuality for events and meetings.
- Adherence to a professional dress code for events and meetings.
- Timely response to emails and calls (within 24 hours).
- Ability to work well with others, including peers, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with audio/lighting/stage setup, tear down, and operations.
- Depending on experience, may handle live audio mixing/sound check or program/design light shows.
- Provide excellent customer service, showcase tech-savviness, and engage in physical labor.
