Job Description

We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team, capable of teaching online (professional equipment provided) and in-person on Saturdays in Surbiton. Online classes consist of 1:1 sessions, while in-person classes involve small groups of children enrolled in our introductory Guitar courses. All necessary course materials and equipment will be provided by the academy.

The ideal candidate should possess a Grade 8 qualification in their chosen instrument and have experience teaching both online and in-person. Familiarity with exam boards such as ABRSM, Trinity, and Rockschool is desirable, along with the ability to teach up to Grade 8 level. Candidates should have a warm and engaging personality, comfortable instructing students of all ages. A current DBS check is required for this position.

Availability

The ideal candidate must be available on Saturday mornings for in-person classes and have a teaching schedule of at least 2-3 days per week, including after-school and evening hours.
