Job Description:

StarMade Production is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as freelance Production Assistants. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with our videographers and photographers to enhance their efficiency during shoots. This position combines elements of a producer and a production assistant, requiring adaptability, creativity, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set Assistance: Facilitate the movement of lights, subjects, props, and equipment to support set design and ensure the capture of the desired look while the videographer/photographer operates the camera.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients and talents, fostering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere during shoots.
• On-Camera Talent: Be prepared to step in as talent when needed for some shoots.
• Time Management: Maintain awareness of the shoot schedule to ensure the team stays on track.
• Social Media Content: Capture photos and videos during shoots and of the team for social media purposes (using a smartphone). May also operate a DSLR camera under the guidance of the videographer/photographer.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Adept at building positive relationships with people.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Social Media Savvy: Experience creating content suitable for social media platforms.
• Alignment with Christian Values: Comfortable working in a Christian-based company and adhering to Christian standards during shoots. (e.g., appropriate dress, behavior, language).
• Compassionate Team Player: Show respect, care, and support for colleagues; collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience: While not mandatory, one year of film/video or photography experience is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a bonus.

Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
