Job DescriptionPosition Overview:

We are looking for Freelance Senior Interior Designers with a minimum of 5 years of experience and the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in interior design, proficiency in a range of design software, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to work within Dubai working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create innovative and visually stunning interior design concepts, mood boards and pitches that align with the client’s vision and project requirements. Have the ability to design winning presentation pitch decks within a short span of time.
• Develop efficient and effective space plans, layout designs, and furniture arrangements to optimize functionality and aesthetics.
• Utilize the following software programs proficiently: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max Studio, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and V-RAY/Corona Render for creating detailed interior designs and 3D visualizations. The candidate should be able to visualize and draft the project sections, elevations and technical detailed drawing on AutoCAD. Knowledge of Basic MEP drawings is required.
• FF&E Sourcing and specifications knowledge is a MUST. Knowledge of appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings while considering budgetary constraints and sustainability is extremely important.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule and within short timelines. The candidate should be process-driven and extremely organized. Should be able to adhere to the company’s design processes, project schedules, policies and reporting structure.
• Work closely and flexibly with the Head of Design, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
• Maintain high standards of design quality and attention to detail throughout all project phases.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of interior design experience is required. Preferably UAE/GCC experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max Studio, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and V-ray/Corona Render.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse interior design projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work within Dubai working hours and adapt to the time zone differences.
• Enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards collaborating with the Head of Design.
