Job Description:
The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in our construction company, overseeing all aspects of project execution from planning to completion. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of construction processes, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing construction projects efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of skilled construction professionals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Resource Allocation:
- Oversee the allocation of equipment, materials, and labor to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to uphold company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Site Supervision:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Address any on-site challenges or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate and present regular progress reports to the executive team and clients.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, drawings, and change orders.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Act as a point of contact for conflict resolution and problem-solving on projects.
- Mediate disputes and ensure open communication among team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of proven experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
