About the Role:

Cooperative Computing is seeking a Frontend Developer who combines the art of design with programming. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into code, ensuring the application’s visual elements and functionality. This role involves collaboration with UI/UX designers, bridging the gap between design and technical implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers to understand UI/UX requirements and implement design mockups using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop responsive web interfaces that work seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth interactions.
  • Implement and maintain consistent design patterns, styles, and interactions.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on design and interaction improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues reported by users or testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging technologies.

Results:

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS) is a plus.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work closely with designers to implement their vision.
  • Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design techniques.
  • Understanding of browser compatibility issues and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX projects, demonstrating your coding skills and design sensibility.
