Overview:
Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Sr. UX Designer or a long term contract opportunity with our client in Indianapolis, IN. This role is hybrid and needs someone who can be in the Indianapolis office quarterly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead user research, develop new assets including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups, as well as provide feedback and assistance to both product managers and software developers to implement thoughtful solutions. This UI/UX partner will act as an extension of the product team and support ongoing product development priorities.
- Drive implementation of existing design patterns and style guide in ongoing product development efforts. This includes the creation of new mock-ups and close collaboration with product management, software development and marketing team to ensure implementation meets user expectations and requirements.
- Design new experiences and capabilities, including but not limited to new features to enable successful expansion of intermediary partnerships, alongside product management and software development team members.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, feedback sessions, prototype testing, or other experiments.
- Developing user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, etc.
- Providing support and feedback to software development team relating to front-end development design.
- Collaborate with product managers to identify problems and explore solutions across all user groups.
- Design and test thoughtful solutions and experiences.
- Completing other product design-related activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of UI/UX experience – senior level skill set.
- UX Design - current environment is Figma / Balsamiq (preferred) but open to other design tools.
- UI Development React, Javascript, Python, MySQL, etc.
- Ability to conduct user research, interviews, and evaluations and make design recommendations.
- This person must be able to visit the Indianapolis office once per quarter and should live regionally.
