About the Company

Deerfoot IT Recruitment is looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join our collaborative Web Development Team. This is a 3-month contract role that is fully remote and comes with a favourable salary of £350 - £550 per day, negotiable DOE. The successful candidate will be working in a team of developers to build a website for a public sector department in the UK. Experience with Agile software development frameworks is a must. You will work in a dedicated Web Development Team within a busy and growing Technology function.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust and high-quality web applications according to specification documents/user stories
• Capture and document customer requirements and transformation into software design specifications/user stories
• Write structured, well-documented code to deliver scalable software solutions

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer who can implement robust and high-quality web applications according to specification documents and user stories. You will also require the following:

• Experience with Agile software development frameworks
• Front-end development technologies including but not limited to JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS
• Working knowledge of Apache web servers and/or AWS is an advantage
