Position Overview:
As a Content Creator at Team Foster, your primary responsibility will be to develop and produce engaging, informative, and high-quality content for various social media platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create content that aligns with the Team Foster mission. This role requires a strong understanding of content strategy, exceptional writing skills, and proficiency in multimedia content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing engaging content, crafting captivating post captions, and creating visually stunning assets that align with Team Foster’s mission.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, videographers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm, plan, and execute content initiatives.
- Content Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and reach of content. Optimize content for search engines, keywords, and social media platforms to drive organic traffic and engagement.
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure that all content is error-free, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s messaging.
- Stay Up to Date: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices. Continuously seek new content formats and innovative ways to engage with the target audience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently studying or have completed a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in creating content for various digital platforms and channels.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective content requirements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate original and innovative ideas.
- Video editing skills required.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
