Job Summary:

Suns Legacy Partners includes several companies and many different departments that support the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Footprint Center. We are seeking a highly motivated A/V Production Assistant to join our Audio-Visual Team, focused on working with the full-time team performing basic A/V related duties. This is a chance to get hands-on experience with professional audio and video equipment in a fast-paced team environment.

What Will You Do:

• Setting up and striking A/V Equipment
• Working on site to facilitate A/V needs for events and meetings
• Be available to be the primary point of contact when Full-time A/V is not available
• Audio and cabling hookups required

What We Need From Our A/V Production Assistant:

• Familiarity with Portable PA setup
• Familiarity with fundamental signal flow
• Able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate on a radio
• Comfortable operating broadcast equipment

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Background knowledge of A/V systems and broadcast level production equipment is preferred
• Must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and gamedays

What You Can Expect:

• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs
• Ability to transit around the arena for long periods of time
• Occasional travel from time to time for professional development
• This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
• S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
