Job Description:

We are looking for a video producer with experience of short-form digital content to oversee the production of a number of short videos for an important new campaign focused around Ukraine war. Based in London, and working to our Director of Content, and as part of a small production team, you will be working with to devise, script, produce (via remote crews) and edit produce a number of short films simultaneously, taking them from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our partners to devise content ideas in line with their needs
• Write engaging scripts that convey complex information in a simple and clear manner
• Suggest ideas for graphics
• Commission filmmakers in each country and oversee them remotely
• Take ownership of schedules for the project
• Ensure assets are delivered to a high enough quality and on time
• Edit produce a number of short videos simultaneously
• Ensure all edit scripts and other paperwork are kept up to date
• Work in a number of unfamiliar languages

Requirements:

• Understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms
• Several edit producer credits
• Experience of current affairs / news / features / other journalistic production
• Extensive experience of scripting
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Fantastic and meticulous attention to detail
• Positive and flexible ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to solve problems
• Ability to get on well with the team
• Understanding of short-form social video

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of producing video content for YouTube, Instagram or Facebook
• Experience of cutting films in foreign languages
