MRM: Freelance Email Developer

About the role:

The Email Developer (aka OLA Developer) role is responsible for the digital marketing production, specifically On-Line Advertising production (OLA) and Email marketing. They have solid fundamentals on bare-bones HTML using tables compatible with multiple email clients. They have a deep understanding of responsive coding and responsive design for desktop and mobile platforms. They are good at meeting difficult deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment. They are able to communicate any concerns about the project early in the process.

Responsibilities:

• Huddle with project managers and QA for the campaign’s requirements
• Help project managers review campaign assets and raise concerns if there is any.
• Build HTML5 standard and rich media ads using GSAP, jQuery, GWD, Adobe Animate, HTML5 Canvas and Doubleclick Studio
• Build responsive emails and e-newsletters in HTML and inline CSS from Photoshop or Sketch files.
• Apply Front-End Development skills, including CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, Responsive Design practices, Javascript Libraries and image optimization
• Stay abreast of developments in website, digital marketing technologies and techniques.
• Work with the QA team for creative testing.
• Modify existing email template designs and revise/update content as necessary.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has HTML5, CSS3, and JS programming experience
• Has 2-3 years of email development work experience – creating and testing responsive HTML emails
• Can work 8 hours per day at night shift
