Job Description:

Homzie, Inc. is a fast-growing remote Virtual Interior Design Studio based in Birmingham, AL helping homeowners across the United States take the guesswork out of home decorating by providing customized, shoppable room design plans - all online. We’re currently looking to bring on two talented interior designers/decorators for two remote contract positions serving our e-design clients.

Requirements:

• A design degree is a definite plus, but we also value experience, passion, and talent.
• Ability to commit a consistent 20 hours a week of potential design work.
• You maintain extreme attention to detail and are obsessed with getting the little things just right.
• You are highly organized and responsive, capable of managing multiple clients, projects, and due dates all at once.
• You’re highly skilled at creating realistic 3D renderings using 3D design rendering software. Ex. My Doma, Coohoom, and Homestyler - We don’t use AutoCad or SketchUp
• You are capable of creating beautiful 2D mood boards designs and comfortable crafting them through online software (photoshop, DesignFiles, Canva, etc)
• You’re exceptional at interpreting a client’s style and comfortable designing in a wide variety of asethetics outside of your own personal style.
• Your exceptional communication skills allow you to show up confidently on video and express yourself effectively through written & verbal communication.
• You enjoy working 1:1 with people and have an infectious personality that builds instant trust and deep connections with people. You’re a people person!
• You’re a vision caster with the confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly.
• You care about the people you’re designing for just as much as the design you’re creating. Compassion communicates.
• You’ve got a black belt in online shopping and can quickly and easily find the perfect product for your client’s style & space.
• You’re passionate about design and home decorating, staying up on the latest trends, discovering new products and resources, and consistently upping your design game.
• You consider yourself tech-savvy.
• You are a United States Resident (required).
