JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a talented and creative Clo 3D Designer to join our product development process. As a Clo 3D Designer, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining the way we design, prototype, and visualize our clothing collections. You will work closely with our design and buying teams to bring our fashion ideas to life using cutting-edge 3D simulation technology. You will be integral to delivering against company targets to convert 15% of our apparel ranges from 2D to 3D pattern development in the next year.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creation, and maintenance, of tailored avatars, blocks, block libraries, core cloths and trims.
• Prototyping: Interpret 2D sketches, producing virtual prototypes to test the fit, drape, and overall design aesthetic of apparel and accessories, reducing the need for physical samples.
• Collaborate with design and buying functions to render designs in line with brand aesthetic.
• Efficiency: Support sourcing initiatives and contribute toward fit consistency and reduced waste.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of 3D designs and that 3D patterns are factory ready.
• Training and Development: Stay updated on Clo 3D software updates and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot any issues with partner vendors.
• Embed Clo 3D into product development process whilst supporting the business meet sample reduction targets whilst reducing material waste.
• Identify opportunities to expand Clo across the business.

What you need:

• Proven experience with Clo 3D software and 3D garment design.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking and textiles/ raw materials.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Portfolio showcasing 3D design projects is a plus.
