Contract: Full Time, Intern, Part Time

Summary:

Lightning Media is looking for a talented individual who is skilled in illustration and graphic design to illustrate and create video thumbnails for the region’s largest YouTube Content Creators. This position is either a part time internship for a current student graduating in May 2024, or a full time employee.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with team members to illustrate and produce 7-14 professional quality YouTube thumbnails each week
• Develop thumbnail concepts based on video footage
• Imagine new and original ideas
• Compositing elements into finished product
• Maintain and develop a consistent video identity and branding
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple videos and projects
• Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in the thumbnail space

Competencies and Skills:

• Expert level use of the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and or After Effects
• Ability to use Google Drive
• Creative drive to create engaging family friendly entertainment
• Great time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to have a fluid daily work schedule

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
