Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
Contract: Contractor
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers and data engineers
- Guide and motivate the team to achieve project goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Design, develop, and implement robust Azure Data solutions
- Ensure the team follows best practices and coding standards
- Perform code reviews to maintain code quality
- Identify and resolve technical issues and provide technical support
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Azure Data
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data services and technologies
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or SQL
- Experience with data integration, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of database concepts and data warehousing
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
