Who we are looking for?

We are looking to hire a talented Golang developer who can efficiently manage the data interchange between users and the server. Your primary responsibility would be to develop and maintain the server-side logic for the central database, troubleshoot any performance issues, and integrate front-end elements into the application. To excel as a Golang developer at SPACE44, you should have extensive experience with Go and be well-versed in backend integration techniques. As a Senior Golang Developer, your duties will include creating backend solutions, building efficient Go modules, and integrating front-end components. If you are someone who enjoys writing code from scratch and reviewing the work of others, we would be interested in meeting you.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new web applications.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
• Writing and maintaining reliable Go code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Creating back-end components.
• Identifying and rectifying bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
• Connecting applications with additional web servers.
• Maintaining APIs.
• Creating automated test scripts.
• Improving and maintaining applications post-deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Experience working with Golang and libraries such as Gorilla Mux and GORM.
• The ability to write clean and efficient Go code.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like ReactJS or VueJS.
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM concepts.
• A good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Go’s native templating language.
• An understanding of agile software development methodologies.
