Who we are looking for?

We seek an experienced Senior Python Developer to build functional and efficient server-side applications. If you specialize in Python and have the adaptability to meet various project requirements, this role is ideal for you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing applications
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, and requirements
• Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Conduct testing and manage bug fixes
• Prepare technical documentation
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
• Write effective, scalable code

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Python Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in building web-based applications
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Bottle)
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API, ideally with mid-level expertise
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with agile (scrum) environments
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a distributed and international, English-speaking team
• Knowledge of REST API, Swagger, JSON, Kubernetes, Docker
• Familiarity with Python 3.9, Flask and Flask-Admin, Django, SQL-Alchemy, Pandas, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery
• Leadership experience overseeing a team of developers or leading a project is a plus
• Experience working on a variety of software projects is a plus
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field
