About The Role

  • Experience designing mobile and tablet journeys and experiences that engage customers.
  • Experience designing user interface elements.
  • Experience working at pace in a Lean UX model with developers.
  • Experienced with designing to meet AA WCAG Accessibility.
  • Experienced designing to a high level in Figma.
  • Lives and breathes a mobile first mindset.
  • Experienced in measuring success through qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Experienced confidently present design work and research findings to a senior audience.

About The Team

The successful candidate will be part of a wider design team which includes user experience designers, user researchers, a content designer and a visual designer. The team’s aim is to improve the lives of our Motability customers by designing solutions that make it easy for them to interact with us online.

You will also be working directly in a innovation squad to develop a new application. In the squad you will be collaboratively working alongside developers to move quickly and designing compelling user experiences and UI designs.

About You

  • Experienced with designing to meet AA WCAG Accessibility.
  • Experienced designing to a high level in Figma.
  • Lives and breathes a mobile first mindset.
  • Experienced in measuring success through qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Experienced confidently present design work and research findings to a senior audience.
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment. Experience using workflow and collaboration software, e.g., JIRA and Confluence.
  • Mastery of using design and prototype software such as Figma, Sketch and Invision.
  • 7 years working as a UX designer
