As a Freelance Designer for Fashion Heaven Inc., you will be responsible for designing two seasonal collections a year for a highly successful luxury swim and resortwear brand. Our brand is inspired by a rich passion for structure, form, texture, and colour.

We are hiring for a Freelance Womenswear Designer to design two seasonal collections a year for a highly successful London-based luxury swim and resortwear brand inspired by a rich passion for structure, form, texture, and colour. You will report to the Creative Director & Founder.

The ideal designer will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in contemporary or luxury fashion, including high-end swim and resortwear. The salary will be in line with experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • From the Creative Director’s brief, carry out research and present direction and ideas for fabric, silhouettes, colours, and prints.
  • Collaborate with the team on the sourcing of fabric and trims.
  • Design two seasonal collections a year encompassing swim and resortwear with emphasis on storytelling capsules.
  • Creation of initial tech packs in collaboration with the design assistant.
  • Attend fittings with the product team and creative director.
  • Ensure the design process adheres to the critical path.

Essential Skills

  • Freelance Designer with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in contemporary or luxury fashion.
  • Design experience in contemporary or luxury swim and resortwear.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe CS.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
