Honors Interiors : Interior Designer

Interior Designer is needed in Bradenton, United States.

Contract: Full Time, Contractor, Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Manages 5 - 8 large projects through all phases from onboarding to full installation.
• Coordinates and organizes all project deliverables, hits deadlines, and manages project budgets.
• Takes the lead and creates project design concepts including all furniture and finish sourcing to align with Honors Interiors aesthetic.
• Sources for and updates company sample library.
• Creates project specific construction specification binder based on company guidelines. Designs and completes any project elevations, construction documents and design boards.
• Responsible for client communication and scheduling, including bi-weekly detailed project updates.
• Prepares design presentations and presents along side our Lead Designer. Packs and ships sample boxes as applicable.
• Communicates with, schedules, and meets with all vendors applicable to assigned projects.
• Works with Procurement Coordinator at the Honors Interiors warehouse to ensure all client products are arriving, are correct, and are ready for install. Including all of the nitty gritty details such as light bulbs and extension cords.
• Conducts weekly construction site visits independently or along side our Home Services Manager. Responsible for all vendor and contractor communication.
• Prepares for and leads project installs.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of interior design experience including remodels with at least 1 year of experience in a role with a similar level of responsibilities.
• Excellent AutoCAD or SketchUp skills with some experience with GoogleSuite.
• Expert knowledge of construction materials.
• Experience working with trade sources.
• Advanced communication skills with an excellent customer centric positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and have experience with working independently.
• Must be available to work from our Lakewood Ranch office 3 days per week.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, and have reliable transportation.
• 25-35 hours per week.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
