Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced freelancer to join our team as a Video Editor. This individual will be responsible for completing post-production editing tasks for our podcast episodes, ensuring that our content looks and sounds its best on platforms such YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Responsibilities:

• Editing video on Davinci Resolve, adding intro/outro, and special effects for the episode through Final Cut, and uploading video to YouTube from a multi-camera recording, ensuring seamless transitions, and professional quality.
• Enhance audio quality, removing background noise, and adjusting levels as needed to ensure crisp and clear sound.
• Collaborate with our in-studio producer to incorporate live cuts and edits, while making additional video edits as necessary.
• Export and optimize final video and audio files for upload to various podcast platforms and YouTube.
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding project deadlines, progress updates, and any potential issues or concerns.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in video editing for podcasting.
• Adding 1-2 reels per episode as well, which will be posted to Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably within the podcasting industry or at least with Davinci Resolve.
• Proficiency with relevant editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition.
• Experience working with multi-camera recordings and ATEM mini audio setups.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• A passion for podcasting and a commitment to maintaining the high standards.

Additional Information

• Pay for growth structure: $1,000 until we get 100k subscribers, $2,500 until we get 250k subscribers, $5,000 until we get to a million subscribers, $10,000 once we hit a million subscribers.
• We have a lot of high-profile guests lined up in the next few months, so we’re looking to bring someone on board ASAP.
