Gain a holistic behind-the-scenes look at the workings of a creative marketing agency by assisting various positions within Ouu i love.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in product photography, videography, product styling, and all things production.
  • Proficient in Adobe programs such as Lightroom or Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience in a similar role or freelancing.
  • College graduate (or equivalent experience and skills).
  • Design background is a plus.
  • Equipment knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be a resident of the United States.

Responsibilities:

Photography & Video:

  • Capture high-quality product images and videos.
  • Arrange and present products aesthetically for photos and videos.
  • Manage digital equipment and file integrity.
  • Understand and manipulate lighting conditions and camera operation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
  • Have a keen eye for product storytelling.

Pre-Production Planning:

  • Find suitable locations for shoots.
  • Secure necessary permits.
  • Assist in crew selection and hiring.
  • Coordinate equipment acquisition.
  • Maintain photo/video area and equipment.
  • Maintain file naming structure.

Post-Production:

  • Retouching photos.
  • Editing videos.
  • Coordinate post-production tasks.

Scheduling and Logistics:

  • Manage the photo and video calendar.
  • Act as a liaison between departments.
  • Organize travel arrangements and client product logistics.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in budget management.
  • Source and pick up prop purchases.
  • Organize crew meals and refreshments.
  • Facilitate collaboration among teams.

Problem-Solving:

  • Address unexpected challenges during shoots.
  • Adapt to changes and unforeseen circumstances.

Additional Information:

  • Assistant Product Photographer/Videographer position.
  • Contract position.
  • Hours: 25-40hrs/week.
  • Schedule: M-F.
  • Location: In-studio or on-location.
  • Compensation: Starting at $16/hour - DOE.
  • Benefits: Capture One Subscription.

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces as required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Experience:

  • Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Adobe Premiere: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Final Cut Pro: 1 year (Preferred)
