Job Description
The 3D Artist works as a member of Studio2aโs 3D teams to create high-end 3D imagery for clients. They will be responsible for creating, building, and designing 3D scenes and preparing models for final render in 3ds Max + Vray. The artist should have a strong interest in design or architecture and be willing to learn and develop skills in a team environment. They will also need to translate drawings, sketches, and photos into detailed photorealistic textured 3D models. The artist should have both artistic sensibility and strong technical skills. This is a freelance position and is not location specific.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of 3ds Max + Vray experience
- Advanced level polygon modeling and texturing skills
- Understanding of animation, rigging, and particle systems
- Comfortable with reading CAD files, spec sheets, and building 3D models from photos
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively remotely via internet-based communications
- Design or architectural background is preferred, but not required
- No solicitations from outsource companies will be considered. This is a position for an individual only
