Job Description:

We are looking for Level Artists to join our client, a first-party development studio located in Vancouver. In this position, you will collaborate with the Level Art Team, the Level Design Team, and other art disciplines to bring the artistic vision set out by art direction to life. The primary responsibilities include creating proxy models for assets, collaborating with level designers and artists to ensure the vision and gameplay of the levels are met, and supporting the needs of the levels.

Requirements:

• A portfolio showcasing high-quality environment and level artwork
• Self-motivated, directed with strong time management skills
• Understanding of asset pipeline using Unreal Engine or similar game engine
• Understanding of modular assets creation, following gameplay metrics
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and its latest tools such as Packed Level Actors and Nanite is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Maya or similar 3D modeling software, World, Excel, and Photoshop
