Job Description:

We are hiring a WordPress Web Designer that is experienced in design and development with WordPress and other platforms such as Shopify and Magento in Leicester. This position will give you the opportunity to work in a creative, person-centred environment with clients who appreciate and value your work and a team that is flourishing.

Duties of Web designer:

• Independently create and manage marketing strategies through front end development coupled with functional back-end systems.
• Leading innovative new ideas, methodology and techniques.
• Working with our SEO, Social Media and PPC teams delivering key strategy development of digital marketing campaigns.
• Supporting ‘White label’ projects for our agency partners.
• Develop project roadmaps integrating with the clients wider marketing strategy.
• Work alongside the design team to execute the development of web platforms.

Requirements:

• Experience of Design and Development using Platforms such as WordPress.
• Ability to be working on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Have a portfolio of brochure websites with experience in more technical development projects.
• Experience of developing bespoke websites that are both responsive and search engine friendly.
• Working knowledge of Email management and server-side hosting.
• Experience of using Web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, jQuery, HTML5.
• Experience working in an Agency environment.
• An understanding of branding, marketing, UX and CRO.

Additional Information:

• Location: Leicester (HYBRID x3 Day in office)
• Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
• Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
• Type: Permanent HYBRID
• Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
