Job Description:

This role calls for a Jr. UI/UX Designer - Asset Management who will work closely with a cross-functional delivery team to create a well-crafted and evidence-based digital experience. The candidate will be responsible for creating front-end design work, including visual prototypes for static and dynamic pages. They will also contribute to the information architecture, interaction models, and user flows under the guidance of the Journey and Digital Experience Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces based on user experience design principles and industry best practices, while considering technology constraints and business objectives
• Create and revise user flows, information architecture, and wireframes based on user needs, business specifications, and technical limitations
• Develop rapid interactive prototypes and validate design assumptions through concept and usability testing
• Participate in design review sessions with project teams and acquire consensus and approval on design approach and documentation
• Create final visual assets in line with the client’s brand standards, UX guidelines, and accessibility legislation
• Collaborate with the client’s marketing and design groups to leverage assets and contribute to development

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a product designer, UX designer, or similar role
• Experience with creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Invision
• Comfortable presenting and substantiating design decisions based on industry best practices and research findings
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design expertise and problem-solving skills
• Excellent critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with evaluative user research techniques and analysis of results
• Previous experience at Financial institutions or Insurance companies in a related capacity
• Asset Management experience
