Contract: Contractor

Job Description

This is a hybrid contract role for a Designer/Editor. This role will be located in Poole, but remote work is acceptable some of the time. As a Designer/Editor, you will be responsible for executing design and editing work at pace. The Designer/Editor will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to create concepts, graphics, and layouts while meeting all project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing to a brief for ideation, branding, concepts, and pitch work
  • Artworking for different formats including digital, social and print, to clients brand guidelines
  • Editing video content into different formats for social media platforms
  • Working to fast turnaround times
  • Working with an entrepreneurial spirit

Requirements

  • Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio, especially digitally
  • Familiarity with editing software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva
  • Experience with conceptualizing and executing multi-channel campaigns with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with video animation and production is a plus
  • Experience with web design and HTML/CSS is a plus

We want to find a partner to join us, contracting into Husk as needed (likely 2 days a week), so that you will have the freedom to work on other projects outside of Husk too.
