Job Description

Information Quality (IQ) is seeking a highly proficient technical writer to work within the Energy and Resources sector, supporting a major Owner Operator. The role includes updating and creating new documentation, formatting technical information, reviewing and editing existing documentation, compiling vendor manuals, and uploading documents into document management systems. The successful candidate should have superior skills with Microsoft Word, attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team, and highly developed written communication skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical writer
• Understanding of and ability to follow Company policies and procedures
• Operations experience and ability to contribute to content development will be highly regarded
• Ability to comply with company Health, Environment & Safety policies
• Previous oil & gas experience would be highly regarded
• Be highly motivated
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills/ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to organize and establish priorities
• Maintain a positive attitude with a high attention to detail and accuracy

Additional Information

• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency is a pre-requisite for this role. Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need not apply.

• Reviewing and editing existing documentation

• Uploading documents into document management systems
• Understanding the review process and expediting comments
• Superior skills with Microsoft Word
• An understanding of Oil and Gas Operations is highly regarded
