Job Description
We are a diverse company operating multiple businesses in the ecommerce industry. We have online shops, a marketing agency, video production, a training academy, warehousing and distribution, a call center, and more. We are looking for a Website Designer to join our team and work on various projects, including website page designs, graphics for video, product labels, magazine ads, social media content, and digital paid ads. As a Website Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-friendly website designs that are consistent with brand guidelines and industry best practices. You will collaborate with front-end developers to implement responsive web designs and integrate design elements into content management systems or custom web applications. Additionally, you will conduct user research and analysis to inform design decisions, present and explain design concepts to stakeholders and clients, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a website designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with content management systems is a plus
- A qualification in design and/or at least 3 years of commercial creative experience
Additional Information
- Good to have but not essential skills include 3D experience, video post-production, producing gifs and moving images, experience with film, video or photography, point of sale design, and product label design and packaging
- Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma or similar website design package, and Microsoft Office
- Strong presentation and verbal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Close-knit team with opportunities for growth and development
- Managed and mentored by an experienced marketing leader
- Must live in Kent and be able to commute to Folkestone offices
