Job Description

Sail Away’s Social Video Editor will be focused on crafting and editing video content of all forms to be used as organic posts on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts AND as paid ads on these platforms. You will be provided with client briefs and goals, video examples to use as inspiration, raw footage, and b-roll to be edited. You will be expected to check in and monitor the video performance and come up with ideas to continue to drive (and improve) performance. This role works collaboratively across all departments to ultimately make sure clients receive the best return on their investment in our social program. BONUS: You are local to the Delray Beach area and able to come to in-person client content shoots.

Requirements

• Experience crafting viral concepts and producing/editing videos for social channels
• Knowledge and expertise in video editing platforms like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and CapCut
• Passionate about social media, likely has their own social presence
• Avid user of TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
• Excellent writer and communicator

Additional Information

• Role KPIs: Strategize and come up with 3-5 new video concepts each week; Fully produce and edit 3-5 new video concepts each week to send off to Account Manager; Improve performance organically and on paid ads side with new creatives produced; Respond to team within Slack with any questions in a timely manner
• Tech Stack: Video editing software of choice (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.); Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, Asana; TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Location: Ideally local to Delray Beach area or able to travel - job is 90% remote, but there will be scheduled in-person shoots
• Time Commitment: Approximately 15-20 hours per month
