Job Description:
The Insolvency Service is seeking 2 senior .NET developers to join its Digital Services Team. The team is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting a line of business applications that form the backbone of the Insolvency Service’s digital offering. As a senior developer, you will work alongside technical leads, other developers, architects, and the development team to enhance, support, and develop these applications. You will also act as a mentor and coach to less experienced developers, contribute to the developer community, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and good practice.
Requirements:
- Subject matter expert in .NET
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading other developers
- Experience working with modern tools and techniques
- Understanding of common security issues and how to mitigate them
- A desire to make a positive impact on the communities served by the agency
- Seeking new technical and leadership challenges
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Enjoy learning and helping others
- High standard of problem-solving skills
