Client: Portable Technology Solutions

Location: Calverton, United States

Contract: Part Time, Contractor, Temporary

Job Description:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user requirements and translate them into design solutions

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the user experience

- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions

- Develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices

- Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role

- Strong portfolio of design projects showcasing expertise in data visualization, wireframing, and visual design

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma

- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Familiarity with content management systems such as Drupal or SharePoint

- Experience with user acceptance testing and conducting usability studies

- Understanding of design patterns and principles for creating intuitive user interfaces

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
