Job Description:

We are seeking an Axiom Developer with experience in regulatory reporting software. The role will be based in Montreal, Canada (hybrid) and is a contract position. The successful candidate will have exposure to Axiom or a similar regulatory reporting software, as well as experience in data warehousing and ETL technologies. They should also have a strong understanding of databases and scripting languages, such as Python or Perl. Familiarity with agile and sprint delivery operating models is desired, as well as knowledge of general ledgers, balance sheets finance systems, and regulatory rules. Previous experience in the IT industry, specifically with regulatory reporting systems or applications, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication, relationship, and stakeholder management skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to Axiom or a similar regulatory reporting software
  • Experience in data warehousing and ETL technologies
  • Strong understanding of databases and scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Understanding of Agile and sprint delivery operating model
  • Knowledge of general ledgers, balance sheets finance systems, and regulatory rules (favorable but not essential)
  • Experience in the IT industry, specifically with regulatory reporting systems or applications
  • Effective communication, relationship, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
