Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Editor to join our team. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in capturing and editing engaging video content, photos, and posts for our social media marketing efforts. This position requires traveling between Nassau and Suffolk to events organized by our studio to film captivating content and collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Attend events organized by our studios to film high-quality video footage capturing the essence and excitement of our graffiti art events
• Edit video footage, photos, and posts into visually appealing content for social media platforms, both creative and informative
• Utilize video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, to create professional-quality videos that align with our brand image and social media strategy
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques to continually enhance our social media presence
• Analyze social media performance rates to enhance marketing efforts
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Engage and interact with event attendees and artists
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
• Ability to travel to and from our studios and to private events

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in a social media or marketing context
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices for content optimization
• Experience or knowledge in analyzing social media performance rates to enhance marketing efforts
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Additional Information

• This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time
• Primarily a weekend position with the addition of a few weekdays in the office
• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
• Pay starts from $20.00 per hour
