Job Description:

We are looking for a freelance Front-End Developer to work alongside our internal dev team to rebuild a new responsive POP website (wearepop.com). Our FEDs are at the intersection of design and technology. They breathe life into designs, developing interactive web-based experiences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with our Front-End Developers to build a new responsive POP website using Svelte and Strapi CMS
  • Build web-based experiences using technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Use Azure DevOps for source control, build and release processes
  • Write clean, semantic, maintainable front-end experiences
  • Deploy your applications to production environments
  • Work directly with client and partner development teams to co-create/deliver solutions together
  • Advise on technical considerations and dependencies regarding risks, opportunities, efficiency, and maintainability
  • Advise on project plans, estimates, and dependencies of front-end tasks
  • Ability to function well in a high-volume, fast-changing work environment and the ability to work on multiple time-critical issues

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Svelte experience required (https://svelte.dev/)
  • Strapi CMS experience is preferred (https://strapi.io/)
  • Must have experience designing web solutions from the ground up as well as taking over and analyzing existing work product
  • Understands how to use bug tracking systems such as Jira or similar
  • Strong communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate with project and program managers
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
  • Agency experience is strongly preferred
  • Lives in one of the following states: WA, OR, CA, ID, MN, NY, SC, or FL
